DC Comics - WONDER WOMAN!

DC Multiverse Collector's Edition - Wonder Woman - McFarlane Toys 2024

Roughly two years ago, McFarlane finally gave us their version of a "classic" Wonder Woman. This was pretty exciting after four years of only cinematic or super-specific stylized versions. But at first glance I wasn't thrilled about the figure. In general, I liked the muscular body, tall stature, and classic costume choice. But I also thought the neck looked too short, the facial expression too vacant, and I'm just not a huge fan of metallic paints. I preordered this figure right way in hopes that I might get the platinum variant. The platinum variant had beautiful flat bright colors a'la her 1980's Kenner and ToyBiz figures. But of course, it also had blue gauntlets in homage to those early figures (which I always thought was an erroneous interpretation of the 1982 DC Style Guide where the silver gauntlets are represented as blue and black). In the end, I think I prefer the standard version. I'm not even bitter that the Platinum was impossibly elusive. And two years later I finally opened her. Let's check out Wonder Woman below!

Wonder Woman comes with a Shield, an Axe, a Sword, a Lasso, six Hands, and a Figure Stand.

She also comes with a Collector Card and Stand.

Time for some Group and Comparison Pics!

Here is Wonder Woman with two recent figures:

Cheers!
