I typically avoid Black & White grayscale action figures when there are colorful versions available. But last year I realized that it was seeming pretty unlikely we would ever see a color version of this Marilyn Munster ReAction figure. When I came across her next in a store (she had been sold out for a couple years), I didn't hesitate to get her. The original The Munsters series ran for two Seasons and 72 episodes from 1964-1966. Marilyn was played by Beverly Owens for the first 14 episodes and by Pat Priest for the remaining 58. Although the two women look different, the likenesses of her figures are so vague that I can't be 100% sure who it is supposed to be. Marilyn is the niece of Lily who is pretty and charming and normal. The running gag of the show is that her suitors are always scared away by her monstrous family... but everyone is too aloof to realize why. I normally don't usually buy figures of "civilian" characters, but something about Marilyn always got her a pass. Let's check out Marilyn below!
