HeroWorld - BATGIRL & JESSICA CRUZ!

HeroWorld - Series 08 -  DC Batgirl & Jessica Cruz Green Lantern – Funko 2018

Funko has had a lot of experimental toy lines come and go over the years. While the fate of certain lines (like Dorbz and Vynl), isn't exactly clear, there are tons of other the we can assume are dead in the water now: Vinyl Sugar, Vinyl Vixens, Vinyl Idols, Rock Candy, Legacy Collection, Vinyl³, and last but not least, the short-lived HeroWorld. Of all the weird Funko blips, I really felt that HeroWorld showed the greatest potential. They were little inexpensive vinyl figurines with a random assortment of licenses Like DC Comics, Harry Potter, FNAF, Scooby-Doo, and Power Rangers. I was iffy about them at first, but as soon as I saw the Batman Villains pack in person I was hooked. Not only because of the great Catwoman in the set, but because of the crosssell image on the back showing a Batgirl and Jessica Cruz set. Unfortunately, the whole line hit a major slowdown and I wasn't able to get the set until thankfully an Australian eBay seller listed a few sets years later. Let's check out Babs and Jessica below!

Time for some Group and Comparison Pics!

Here are Jessica Cruz and Batgirl together.

And here are all my DC HeroWorld Ladies together. From Left to Right: Catwoman '66, Batgirl, Jessica Cruz Green Lantern, Catwoman, Hawkgirl, and movie Mera.  I'm missing Wonder Woman and Raven, Jinx, Starfire, and Blackfire from Teen Titans Go.

Here are all my Funko Burnside Batgirl items. From Left to Right: 5-Points, Pop, HeroWorld, Rock Candy, Pint-Size Heroes, and Vynl.

And the few Jessica Cruz items I own: Imaginext, HeroWorld, and Multiverse.

Cheers!

  3. I don't remember these. Not bad figures for what these are. The Jessica Cruz is my favorite of these two.
