I was planning on saving this post until after I see Superman (2025) in the theaters in a few weeks. I always like to give my thoughts on the movie if I can be patient enough to wait. But in this case, I failed... but it's also because I'm putting faith in McFarlane Toys giving us a belated cinematic Hawkgirl figure. This 6" line from Spin Master is new for them. They have consistently put out 12" and 3.75" figures for all their big DC movies, but for Superman (2025) we have 12", 6", and 3". The latter two being new scales for the company. These new 6" figures remind me of the older basic figure lines we saw from Mattel with Mera, Mary Marvel, Darla, and Wonder Woman. I'm really curious to see what the future of the DC license will be. There is conflicting information stating that both Spin Master and McFarlane will no longer be working with DC in 2026, but I expect there to be more information shared at SDCC. I really appreciate the Hawkgirl figures they gave us, so I hope they stick around. Let's check out Hawkgirl below!
Interesting observation: The image of Hawkgirl on the packaging varies depending on what character you buy. Below on the Left is the image on the back of the Hawkgirl packaging, errantly showing a photo of the 12" Spin Master figure. On the Right is the image from The Engineer packaging, correctly showing the 6" figure.
Hawkgirl's wings come detached in the packaging and connect through two ports in her middle back.
She does not comes with the traditional mace accessory.
Hawkgirl also comes with the Abdomen and Pelvis of the Collect-to-Build Superman Robot figure.
Time for some Group and Comparison Pics!
Here is Hawkgirl with the other female in the Spin Master 6" line, The Engineer.
And here are the three Superman (2025) Hawkgirls so far. Imaginext, Spin Master 12", and Spin Master 6".
Here she is with the 6" Basic Series Mattel Mera from 2018.
This is the closest scale to the new Spin Master line that we have seen in the past.
Here are all the Mattel Basic DC figures from 2018-2019: Mera, Mary Marvel, Darla Dudley, and Wonder Woman.
Here are the two live-action Hawkgirls: Legends of Tomorrow from DC Collectibles and Superman (2025 Movie) from Spin Master.
Cheers!
Cool design.
